A June Wedding...
at the beautiful Clarion river lodge located in Cooks Forest along the Clarion river. Pulling up the steep gravel drive opens up to reveal a hilltop river paradise complete with a bar and restaurant. The lodge is surrounded by a large open deck for patrons to relax and enjoy nature while sipping on their favorite beverage or indulging in delicious food from the restaurant. My wedding couple had most of the ten rooms reserved for the entire weekend for their wedding party. The back deck was the perfect private location for a "first look" for the groom.
The ceremony took place...
just down the hill, a 5 minute walk from the lodge right alongside the picturesque Clarion river. A beautiful, sunny, 72 degree day kept us cool while watching kayaks float by waiting for the ceremony to start. The ceremony was refreshingly short, and we were able to get a beautiful picture of their first kiss with the river in the background.
We headed down the road...
into the woods for some bride and groom photos. The bride's vision was photos in an enchanting forest, which is exactly what we found on a Cooks forest trail. The couple humored me as we trapsed through the leaves and sat on mossy rocks to find the perfect spot.
The lodge was the perfect venue...
for an intimate ceremony. The venue provided seating and dinner for a private reception for the couple's 30 guests. The Clarion River Lodge exceeded expectations!
