Historical Downstown Sharpsville, Pennsylvania
made the perfect setting for Carly & Josh's engagement session. She messaged me asking for "dark and dramatic" photos, so we switched from our previously agreed on location to accommodate!
The Erie Extension Canal
has a historical cabin right by the road perfect for a photo op.
Down the path by the river
you will reach the canal site. With the tall cement walls and ancient trees surrounding, this was a great spot for the vibe of photos we were going for.
There are plenty of grassy areas
to capture some "golden hour" sunset images. The sun peeking through is just **chef's kiss** in a photographer's eye.
About one mile up the road
is the beautiful building that holds Sharpsville's Historical Society. With the old style architecture, red brick, and my gorgeous couple, I called it mission complete on the "dark and dramatic" engagement photos. Moral of the post......ALWAYS tell me what you want out of your session. I am happy to plan accordingly and give you the WOW factor you are looking for!
